Specialized condensers are available for dark-field and phase-contrast applications, ideal for bloodwork, fluid analysis, and pathology. To customize the microscope to your viewing comfort, the eyepiece spacing can be easily adjusted using a precision Siedentopf mechanism. A diopter is available on both ocular tubes to compensate for asymmetry, and the ocular tubes are angled at 30° to comfortably accommodate a seated position without neck strain. The 23mm photo port is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces and can be replaced with an optional CX series C-mount port which has a built-in reduction, and can directly interface with C-mount cameras. The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers the magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy. The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for the examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level. Halogen sub-stage lighting provides bright illumination with excellent color rendering. The warm lighting is better suited for prolonged use, causing less eyestrain than LED and fluorescent lighting. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth of field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion movement for precise height adjustment. Monitor and capture photos and videos by adding an optional USB 2.0 camera. The C-mount camera is specially designed for use with microscopes, allowing you to watch live images, and record photos or videos on your computer. This ability to view microscopic images on your computer reduces eye strain and allows groups of people to view images at the same time. A 0.5X reduction lens is included (with the addition of an optional camera) for use with 23mm-30.5mm ports to capture more of the microscope's field of view. Included Precise Temperature Control Stage Warmer This microscope stage temperature control system ensures accurate, stable thermal control of live biological specimen observations. Ideal for checking semen motility, it is sized specifically for the user's stage warming needs and is adaptable to all brands of biological compound and stereo microscopes. The stage warming deck is made of high-tensile aluminum which maintains a precise, constant temperature of less than +/-.1° C between a set range of 20° C to 52° C. Pre-heating the stage takes 1 to 2 minutes resulting in reaching the constant temperature desired. This stage warmer is ideally suited to maintain stable specimen temperatures while examining or analyzing sperm motility and velocity or other live biological specimens under a microscope. To do so, please send us a message through eBay member to member messages, with your reason for return, requesting an RMA number. Note that shipping costs are borne by the customer. Returns requested after 30 days are not valid, and any returns sent without an RMA number will be returned to sender at the sender's expense. Also, please insure all items shipped back, as damage to items by the courier during the return shipment to us are not covered otherwise. Note: Buyers bear the cost of shipping and handling cost round trip for warranty services. Warranty does not cover consumable accessories and parts such as bulbs. Warranty service times vary throughout the year, and are processed in a first come, first serve manner, when parts are available and in stock. Most repairs/replacements are done within 1-2 weeks, however if there is a long line during the busy season, or if your parts need to be ordered from our manufacturer, processing times can be up to 6-8 weeks. Defective/Missing Items For defective items or any missing items from your order, please contact us right away to let us know of the issue. We allow a 30 day period (from the date of receipt of the item in the mail) to report such issues--any items missing after that time frame will need to be purchased, and any defective items will be treated as warranty issues for repair or replacement only (no returns for refund). For missing items and broken items, we do require a picture of the shipping label on the box, and of the items that arrived with your unit for verification before we can send any missing items or replacements to you. Return Procedure To initiate an RMA, please send us a message through the store you purchased it from. Include your order number, reason for return, and if any pictures are required for your claim, please include them also. From there, we will process within 24-72 hours, and if approved, issue you an RMA number and instructions on where to mail your unit back to. If qualifying for return shipping covered by us (for defective items within 30 days of receipt), your return label may take another 24-48 hours to process and be received in your email inbox. Follow the issued instructions, and once received, we will process the item in, and check to ensure everything is there. We will contact you when the item is ready for return shipping (if a warranty request), or simply issue your refund with the appropriate deductions (if any) once processed.
